African Culinary Arts

In this class, we'll be taking you through delicious recipes across the Western and Eastern part of Africa, while showing you how to achieve maximum productivity in the Kitchen in a timely manner without burning yourself out. You will also learn how to identify products and determine their quality, where to find the best ingredients, what cookware to have and what staple pantry items you should keep stocked. Here, you will learn some of the most important basic cooking techniques and how to build flavor using local herbs and spices.

Duration: Three Weeks (Weds, Thurs & Fri)

Time: 12pm-3pm

Weekend Classes: Two Months (Sat - 2pm)

Continental Culinary Arts

The course teaches a selection of cuisine across Europe and Asia while also equipping you with the skills and techniques required of a trained Chef in any high end restaurant. After this class, you will be beaming with creative sparks and confident in your knife and food plating skills.

Duration: Five Weeks + Externship (Mon-Wed)

Time: 10am-1pm

Weekend Classes: 2 Months (Saturdays )

Course Fee: N350,000 (+ N10,000 Registration Fee)

Externship: There is an added advantage of 3-days to 1-week externship based on merit, when the opportunity presents itself. For students who exhibit interest in fine dining or event catering.

Dessert & Pastry Class

You can tell a lot about a person by the dessert they create and how it is presented. In this class, you will learn the fundamental skills needed to create delicious pastries and desserts that will turn heads and warm the heart. Rest assured you shall be leaving this class with the confidence to build beautiful dough, cakes and create brand new desserts on your own.

Duration: One Month (Fri-Sat)

Combined Cuisine Masterclass

Knowing a thousand recipes will not make you a great Cook/Chef, but knowing the science and mastering the techniques will! And that's exactly what this class is all about. In this combined masterclass of African, Continental and Oriental cuisines, you will get to know basic to advanced techniques of the culinary arts world that you will need in order to unleash your inner creativity & become a great Chef.

Duration: 2-3 Months + Internship (Mon-Fri)

Time: 10am (1st 5weeks), 12pm (2nd 3weeks)

Gastronomy in Culinary Arts

An intensive 3-week program designed to explore the intricacies of culinary artistry, with a major focus on food plating and styling in the context of fine dining. This course goes beyond traditional culinary education, delving into the creative realms of recipe development, hacking molecular cooking, sous-vide, theme selection, and the art of food plating with simple available resources/equipment. Participants will learn to marry flavors, textures, and colors to create visually stunning and delectable dishes, elevating their culinary expertise to new heights.

This program reshapes how you see yourself, your work and value. You'll learn personal branding, menu creation, presentation, discipline and standards required to excel and build lasting careers in exclusive/HNI environments without constant job loss or conflict. This is NOT a cooking class.

Starting January 2026, PREP is mandatory for all Kimolar chef members and open to any chef seeking to elevate their private service career.

Family Chef Training (FCT)

About the Course

When your home cook's food feels repetitive or basic, it doesn't always mean you need to hire a new one; sometimes, they just need the right training. The FCT program helps your chef/cook master new dishes, refine presentation, and elevate everyday meals into something you'll actually look forward to.

Participants can either attend classes at the academy or opt for the in-home training option where our chef instructors visit your residence to conduct personalised on-site training tailored to your preferred cuisine. Our instructors retrain your cooks to meet chef standards within a home setting. From menu variety and continental dishes to hygiene, time management and creativity, each class builds on the last, but the full 4-week program will have your chef return more confident, creative and capable of matching your family's taste and lifestyle.
